Which is “best” is subjective. It depends on how much help you want. I like Scottrade. The minimum account balance is $500.00, and trading fees are only $7.00 for on-line market or limit orders. Customer service is excellent. But they do not provide investment advice. There are cheaper brokers, but not with the same level of service.
